The goal of New Beginnings is to continue to focus on treating people with the disease of chemical dependency.  Chemical dependency is a primary fatal and chronic disease that has serious negative consequences for the individual, family and significant others.  The etiology of the disease reflects a complex interaction of emotional, behavioral, social genetic and biological factors.  The disease is incurable, but highly treatable.  New Beginnings would like to be able to continue to offer our programs to St. Louis County and City residents and surrounding areas.  We know that with the growing number of citizens needing drug and alcohol treatment, rising every years, expanding our service area would not only benefit the adult clients but the adolescents need treatment.  We believe successful treatment demands the efforts of an interdisciplinary team which is comprised of qualified professionals from various backgrounds and experience.  New Beginnings employs those qualified professionals and believes that the result is strong families and productive citizens.
