Beginnings is a not-for-profit
organization that
provides outpatient counseling
to adults and adolescents.
Our primary focus is to
treat
people with the disease of
chemical dependency.
Chemical dependency is a
primary progressive, potentially
fatal and chronic disease that
has serious negative consequences
for the individual, family and
significant others.
The etiology of the disease
reflects a complex interactions
of
emotional, behavioral, social
genetic and biological
factors.
The disease is incurable, but
highly treatable.
New
Beginnings employs the
C-STAR (Comprehensive
Substance Treatment and
Rehabilitation) Model that
provides programming that
is designed to maximize
the therapy experience to
include Reality
Therapy. New
Beginnings philosophy
places the client in the
least restrictive level of
care and to this end, all
clients are assessed and
staffed for placement in
the most appropriate
setting.
We
believe successful
treatment demands the
efforts of an interdisciplinary
team which is comprised of
qualified professional
from various backgrounds
and experience.
